TGA’s 200th Post!

200th Post on TGA Yellow

By Marie-Pierre Renaud

Just like Stargate SG-1, we’ve finally reached the 200th mark!

Of course, we don’t have as much budget as MGM did when there were producing SG-1, otherwise instead of a simple post I would be sharing an amazing recap video. It would probably look a bit like Marvel’s opening logo, except that in our case the epic music would be a bit much. Well, as we literally have no budget, please imagine the following but with a quick slide show of all our work and our logo at the end instead of Marvel’s.

Ah yeah! Amazing! TGA rocks! Well you know, it’s the intention that count.

I wish to thank all TGA team members and guest bloggers who have contributed to the success of our blog and continue to do so. We all work had to bring you interesting and relevant content regarding anthropology, geek culture and geeky things, and we strive to continuously improve TGA.

On the same note, our entire team is grateful to our readers and extended community of supporters: your support to our work, such as sharing it with friends and colleagues, leaving us a kind comment or referring to our pieces in your classes, is immensely appreciated.

I take this opportunity to remind all our readers that we welcome contributions from guest bloggers and that we are always looking for new recruits to join our team!

Anthropologists, and other social scientists, either aspiring or experienced, can send us comprehensive pieces, book reviews and other contributions. For more information about the types of pieces we publish, head to the Contribute page.

There are other ways to contribute to TGA, either as a research assistant, a community manager, a reviewer, or a graphic designer. Learn more about becoming a valued member of our team on the Join Our Team! page.

Do you think you can contribute to TGA in other ways?  Feel free to write to us at thegeekanthropologist(at)gmail.com.

Help us reach the 300th post mark!
